I've been to several locations all over the country. I just wanted to make note of this one because it's only a block away from Les Madeleines (the place with the $5 to $6 pastry that people rave about). Anyway, although most other reviewers don't like Dunkin's coffee, I think it's quite decent. If you're looking for cheap coffee that is decent but don't want to pay a fortune, this is an option especially if you've just forked out $6 for one little pastry down the street. BTW, I only come to Dunkin for coffee. Not sure if the donuts are any good. I think I tried it once at a NYC location and didn't like it much.

I wanted to give this place another try after grand opening. Well, the napkin that I accidentally ate tasted exactly the same as the doughnut. This place has the most tasteless food that I've ever ate. And don't worry if you have to wait a long time for service either. For your entertainment, you can watch the flies buzzing around the doughnut case.

East coast to west. I like this place. I love the coffee here.

First time at this location. Ordered a breakfast sandwich, hashbrowns and upgraded drink to a vanilla chai. Grand whopping total of $6.02.... geez. Sandwich was so... so....Hashbrowns were soggy and greasy. Also got ripped off on my drink. It was only half way full. What?! I do not recommend.

I have to say that I'm disappointed with this location. They used to be much better when they opened from my own experience. The customer service is ok, but what is annoying is why do you have a place open if you run out of donuts??? What's the point of opening a donut shop if your running out of donuts, and tell the customer=me, well people have been buying dozens today..uuum are they not supposed to?? Its a daaamn donut shop duh. It's called dunkin donut not dunkin coffee, or dunkin breakfast! So until I'm pleased again with this place they are gonna have 1

Well clearly, I have not had the same bad experiences as my fellow yelpers. Everytime I have come here, I have been completely satisfied! I am not a coffee snob, so I don't have much of an opinion on that. But I do like their vanilla chai! I have to be in the mood for it, as it is VERY sweet, but it's yummy. And oh my god, the hash brown bites are seriously delicious. Repeat: GET THE HASHBROWN BITES. I've had a croissant bacon egg sandwich a few times and that's pretty superb as well. I'm not a huge donut fan so that's why I usually opt for the other breakfast options- but the donuts I have had here are tasty. The people working are always so nice to me! (Like really, they compliment me and stuff. Very flattering) all in all, Dunkin' is solid.

The doughnuts are A-OK & the staff are very nice.

Worst customer service at a drive-thru. I've never had someone be so short with me I didn't catch the girl's name but she reminded me of Destiny's Child. She had zero patience and spoke to me as if I was a kid. It was actually my first time at DD and will probably be my last.

I decided to give them another try because I was desperate and they're super close to my office. I truly thought that given time they'd get their act together. So many people outside of Utah LOVE Dunkin it must get better, or so I thought. I really wish I had banged my head against the way instead of going for a calorie fix. In desperate need of coffee and knowing that their brewed coffee tastes terrible I went for a latte. I looked it up online, real milk and espresso you can't go wrong. Oh but they can. I don't know if they forgot to add new grounds before they pulled the shot but it was terrible it tasted like watered down milk with almost no coffee flavor. I also opted for some breakfast food and got the turkey sausage flat bread. The bread was fine, the size was ok, the cheese was some processed crap that's probably actually cheese flavored substitute, the sausage was overly salty and rubber and the egg was gross. It was beyond disappointing. I'm pretty sure had I bought something from a gas station freezer section and warmed it up in a microwave it would have been about the same. Add the fact that it cost me $8 and I'm officially done with Dunkin. Their donuts taste like cardboard (you're better off at a grocery store), their sandwiches taste microwaved, and their coffee shouldn't even be allowed to be coffee. After so much anticipation and hope watching them build the place this is such a disappointment.

We ordered a variety of doughnuts for breakfast treats. The most bites taken out of a doughnut were two, one by two separate people... Where I'm going with this, no one took more than one bite of a doughnut. They all ended up in the trash. To be fair the only thing we had there were doughnuts, but for a place with the word in their name you think they'd be fresh. Instead they were dry and everyone (from only one bite) had that gross waxy film left on the roof of their mouth. And I know it's negative to say, but there is a reason the last dunkin that I remember here went out of business. If you want doughnuts go with banbury or beyond. America runs FROM dunkin!

I was in SLC over the weekend and was visiting the The City Library across the street. I was on the rooftop garden when something caught my eye. A freakin' Dunkin' Donuts. Yes, being from Cali, we don't have these here yet. There's one in Santa Monica but I'm not driving all the way over there for what could be mediocre offerings. So me and my girl made it out here yesterday for breakfast and I had a glazed donut and some of the pumpkin nuggets or whatever you call them. They're 25cents each. I also had a medium hot coffee - dark roast. The donuts were pretty good and the coffee was actually awesome as hell. I was tempted to order an iced coffee for the road but changed my mind, because that would have been way too much coffee in such a short time span. The only downside to this location is that there are lots of homeless folks but the employees are very nice and actually carry full on conversations with them. I mean, if you have 25 cents, then you can buy one of those donut balls and you'd be an actual customer as opposed to a loiterer. The upside, besides the prices and service, is that they have recharging stations all over the place. If you want to get your study on before the library opens at 1pm (on Sundays) then you can surely kick it here for a bit.

My boyfriend and I come here a lot. Mostly due to his political dislike in my beloved Starbucks. This is also where I met my boyfriend a while back, when I was running in to get an egg white breakfast sandwich and a caramel swirl iced latte. That is usually what I get, and he usually does a caramel latte hot with a cheese croissant. The sandwich is ok, but nothing special. At this particular location, there is one Asian girl who looks like she may be an assistant manager or something, and she always makes my drink correct, but everyone else never seems to get the coffee-cream-sugar ratio correct.

  • Matthew B.

I asked for a regular coffee. Shit came to me with creamer in it and room temp. That's not regular, is it? Maybe I'm to blame. Maybe I should have stressed that I want a coffee with nothing in it... Black and hot. I'm annoyed at this. I won't go back. Three stars because the sandwich was nice and hot.

I wanted to love this place, I really did. People keep mentioning Banbury, but it's on the wrong side of town for my morning commute. I need to get on I15 from State/1st and this is one of the few places right on the way to the freeway. I've come here a couple of times now, though I'm not sure why I keep punishing myself. Maybe it's because I want to believe that this place can live up to it's brand. I've had Dunkin' Donuts in other cities and loved it. It's pointless to come here on a weekday after 9. Every time I've done that they are out of every donut that I'm interested in. I've asked for 3 or 4 different donuts and had them all be sold out multiple times. This morning I went by and they actually had what we wanted. We ordered 2 of the pumpkin filled donuts and a chocolate sprinkle donut. Finally, they could actually give us what we were interested in! We were in a hurry, so we didn't check the donuts until we were just about to the freeway...and of course there was one pumpkin and 2 chocolate without sprinkles. Disappointing enough to get me to write this review. I want to say I will avoid this place in the future, but it's the only donut drive thru between my home and I15 that I know of. Dang.

I'm not really that into sweets, and I haven't had a donut in over a year. Never been to a Dunkin' Donuts in my life. But a sudden, inexplicable craving for sweet doughy goodness took hold on a recent weekday night. With high hopes, I ordered a maple glazed donut, and a jelly filled donut. Took one bite of each. Stale, flat, blah. I threw the rest in the trash. I'm still tasting it as I write this two hours later. Is this what the DD empire what built upon? Bleechhh...

I will probably always refer to the end of August 2014 as the period I got addicted and subsequently had to quit Dunkin Donuts. My first experience wasn't even that great. I'm not huge on donuts to begin with, but Dunkin's are extraordinarily sweet. Which therein lies the problem. I love a good donut, but overpoweringly sweet does not a good donut make. In my couple weeks of overindulgent consumption, I sampled my fair share of donuts. Once the novelty wore off of being able to indulge and have a treat, I realized just how bland the majority of the donuts are. (hash browns are not exempt) At this point you may be wondering why then I was consistently hitting the drive thru. The answer is simple. Iced Coffee. Anyone who remotely cares about coffee, would understand that the coffee itself is essentially dessert. There is a large variety of flavors that you can put in your coffee, my personal favorite being caramel. The amount of milk and cream they put in the drink realistically gives you coffee flavored milk. Far from innovative coffee, but it will absolutely target your sweet tooth and relentlessly hone in. Beyond actually enjoying the beverage, I believe that the excessive amount of sugar must play a part in why I was consistently craving not only the coffee but the donuts. Having finally weened myself off, I can only recommend Dunkin as an occasional treat. And even then, I'd still probably buy myself a store bought donut before attempting to eat the obscenely sugar filled products that roll out of this place.

Dunkin Donuts knows breakfast, lunch and dinner. Party, office anytime is a great time for Donuts coffee, chocolate, tea. Open from 4 to midnight drive thru. Lobby is open from 5 to 11 with free wifi and both USB and AC to charge your device. So many programs to save. Don't forget to write the code in after you do the survey and hand it in to get that delicious donut when you get a medium drink. Also many perks when you join dd perks.

This place could be really cool if they had better coffee. I come here because it's open 24/7 and has a drive thru. If they aren't out of what you order then you get a cup that is half full (or empty) of whatever you ordered. I ordered a chai latte and the cup was not even near full What's with the hot coffee water too? Not impressed, but my need for drive thru coffee at 10pm will keep me coming back unless someone knows somewhere else:

Tonight there were about 5 donuts to choose from ...at a donut shop!! The clerk said we only have a few donuts left cuz it's getting so late. 9 PM! I chewed on my stale donuts vowing once again to never come back. It's like Wendy's closing at 2AM but only having French fries to serve after midnight. And you've got to check out their wifi scam. Just leave your computer at home!

I took an early trip to my normal coffee place this morning but it was closed, so I decided to try DD. I only needed a coffee and I'm glad DD is where I went. The cashier was super friendly and the place is very clean. My coffee was inexpensive and soooo delicious.

  • Tyson R.

This is absurd... I've been here three times. Three. Each time I go they tell me they've got nothing left. Very limited selection. Tonight I wanted a half dozen donuts and they said we only have for left. The time before I asked for five different types and he finally just said all they had were three cake donuts left. YOU GUYS SELL DONUTS! That's all you do! You do ONE thing and should do it well!! That's like going to pizza hut and they're out of pizza. Cold stone and they're out of ice cream. I mean cmon you guys. I have yet to ever even eat a thing from this place because they never have anything on hand.

I'm over Dunkin'Donuts. I think I got lucky on my first few visits, because every subsequent experience has been horrible. Their breakfast foods are dripping with grease and their donuts are always stale. I'm not goin' back! Ever!

  • Brian B.

Never really liked their donuts, but the iced coffee is good and it's relatively cheap. Stopped in today and got a ham n' cheese sandwhich which took 10 minutes to make, was all soggy and under-toasted and the store was not busy at all, employees wandering around without purpose. Keep expectations low and keep it simple for them and you may come out reasonably satisfied.

  • M K.

I was very excited to see a DD here as it is my lifeblood in New York. But I am very cleeaarly not in New York where I would get my latte, delicious as I ordered it, in a minute or two even if there is a line. Instead, I'm waiting ten minutes for two drinks with four inadequate and slow women workers behind the counter and one or two other customers. Get your shit together, Salt Lake City, the Indians that run my DD would run circles around you.

Yeah, I don't get it. This whole Dunkin' Donuts phenomenon reminds me of so many other social trends that people seem to subscribe to en masse, unquestionably clicking the thumbs-up button due to peer pressure or groupthink. Whatever it is, it just doesn't make sense. After wading through lines of people, I got the chance to belly up to the Dunkin' Donuts buffet, ordering several varieties of their famed donuts, and a cup of the coffee so many people swear by. The coffee was alright, nothing to make a big fuss about, and the donuts were below average, if anything. The service was nice, and the place was clean, but I probably won't be going out of my way to try more of Dunkin' Donuts' fine fare in the near future. There are many better options.

  • Joy N.

Bad, bad, bad. Ordered hashbrowns, they gave me 5. I counted. What the hell? I also got an iced coffee, it tasted disgusting because it was so watered down and I drank it as soon as I got it.. I just don't get how so many things could all be so bad.

Oh, Dunkin' How you have fallen. I have a fond memory of the original dunkin' donut. The plain cake with the little handle. Back in those days all of their donuts were fresh and delicious. Now it seems they are concentrating on the coffee, to the detriment of their namesake. Bought a dozen, they were ALL stale. Went back to give them a second chance, STALE and STALER. These must be frozen and thawed. Or else something heinous is happening behind the scenes. I shudder to think. I will stick to Krispy Kreme and Banbury Cross or Daylight Donuts. Banbury Cross uses Dawn Foods products, and they make the best donuts!

Absolute worst Dunkin Donuts I've been to in the entire country. Dunkin Donuts is my favorite coffee, but somehow this franchise makes it terrible. Every time I visit they are always "out" of something or the order is messed up in some way. Get it together. This franchise is giving Dunkin Donuts a very bad rep.

Fell in love with the Boston Creme when I was in New York and now I can enjoy this pastry addiction here at home. DD is finally here-thank lawwd.I came opening day and sure enough there was a line and waited 45 minutes to get my fix but it was worth it. Inside is neat and vibrant. It was nice to be able to charge my phone while scarfing my donut. Staff was exceedingly cheerful and friendly. The only downside to this place is the location. I hate having to U-turn at 4th south and the previous business, BK, had a problem with homeless folks. Should be interesting to see what happens in the near future.

It's Dunkin' Donuts. We waited years to have a decent lump of dough, stuffed with apple pie filling. Vacations to other states were not complete with a trip down a highway, off an exit, down a side street to find a Dunkin' D. And if there was one in the airport, treats went home. I bought a dozen. Had one. Two boys. Big problem. Who gets the last donut?

    (5)
  • E.M. B.

I don't get it. The donuts are not that good, and the service is terrible. There were probably 5 employees, and the guy working the register was really the only one who had it together. Everyone else had their head in the clouds. There were maybe 4 people in there, and it took forever. It's donuts, for Christ's sake. Throw them in a box, and I'll be on my merry way. Not worth the wait.

I ordered a latte and a glazed. No glazed. Chocolate? No chocolate. Either of the promo donuts? Nope. Okay, French cruller? NOPE. Old fashioned? No? OKAY MY BAD, I thought I was at a GODDAMN DONUT SHOP. Left without a donut, but I did get a burnt coffee, and a burnt tongue. UPDATE: still sucks.

    (1)
  • Rosalyn T.

I like the coffee and donuts. But the services is freak sucks. I bought donuts, doesn't say it's pumpkin in the front of the donuts. I asked the staff and the staff so rude. When the open the 1st the service is good. Seems they don't like people asked too many questions. Maybe they don't understand English at all.

love the regular coffee. you can ask for less sugar should you find that they add too much.

    (4)
  • Janet P.

This place is all hype! I was expecting a melt in your mouth, out of this world, delicious donut. Nope, it was nonetheless dry, stale, and stomach turning. The coffee had no flavor. Overall, I feel that you're better off at a mom and pop donut shop. California people, don't fall for it! It's all hype and a fad.

    (1)
  • Vida A.

Ive never had a Dunkin Donut until today. I had the strawberry donut, it was chewy but nothing like banbury cross. It was ok. The iced coffee was cheap but on promotion. Staff seemed nice and efficient. I will go back for the drinks.

Its big, its not a Burger King anymore and it serves the greatest mass produced coffee and iced tea in all the land. Dunkin' is finally in Salt Lake. The store is big and bright, there's room to sit down with lots of single seats and plugs for laptops. There's even one or two multi person tables if you want to party and eat donuts for hours on end. The line was to the door wrapped around the center of the store this morning and it still only took 30 minutes. That's pretty good with your average Utahn ordering 36 donuts and wanting to pick each one from behind the register (thats bad Dunkin etiquette people, even for Utah). They even have a drive through and they're open from 4:30am to 11:30pm 7 days a week. Yes people, even on SUNDAY! So when nothing is open on 4th South on Sunday at 7pm, you can go eat a bunch of donuts. Dunkin is donuts for the people. You can tell me that bakery X is sooo much better, but honestly its the most democratic consistent donut you can get. And the coffee... its so much better than Starbucks burnt coffee and its cheaper. What more can you ask for? Eat more Donuts.

This place just opened in SLC in late June 2013. The drive up was packed on a Saturday afternoon. We went inside and the service was quick and friendy. Ordered a dozen donuts of our assorted favorites. The donuts were fresh and there was an excellent variety and quantity to select from. We are from NY so this was like a taste of home. Met someone on line from Boston and he said the same thing. So happy they are finally here.

My first Dunkin experience was fantastic. But after trying this location I had to think my first Dunkin experience was a fluke, or just a nice taste of home, as I had been living in Moscow for some time. I didn't try the coffee the first time, but here it was only mediocre at best. An apple fritter is part of my regular cheat day routine, and this one was just flavorless sugary bread. We ordered a variety of other donuts with similar results, all sugar, no flavor. Granted with a 24 hour drive through, and a 5:30 AM commute, I may pass through for a coffee, but I wont be eating their donuts, at least not while there are better options within walking distance.

  • Chris W.

One star seems too mean. Three stars seems to generous. I went, despite the bad reviews here. They're a famous brand and I wanted to try. I tried the glazed donut and Boston Cream. Glazed was not good. Boston cream was ok but I wasn't that impressed. Krispy Kreme is far superior. Local places like Banbury or My Sugar's is better. Tried a breakfast sandwich that was Texas toast, egg, bacon and it was awful. I couldn't choke it down. Threw half away hash browns were also terrible. Carl's jr is a much enter breakfast. And I'm not a huge fan of them either. Now I know. Will not be returning ever. Perhaps their coffee is good? Maybe thats what the hype is about?? I don't drink coffee so I won't come back.

This has to be the worst Dunkin Donuts I've ever been to. I live across the street and was so excited when this place opened, but every time I go the service is slow, they screw up the order and the donuts are incredibly dry- every time. I'm done with this place, the Smiths on 5th East has much better donuts.

They have the. Stalest donuts in salt lake. Maverick has fresher donuts. 4 tries and its over.

We went there on 2/28/14 around 10:00 pm for a late night coffee and donuts. The person at the counter, I think her name was Xara, was extremely helpful and friendly. The donuts are always top notched and I enjoy the coffee a lot. The five star rating is for the customer service we had received.

    (5)
  • Mimi N.

The people are extremely nice and friendly, which is great on my 6:30 commute, but they tend to get orders wrong. I suggest that you check before leaving...But it's a Dunkin, and they're open 24 hrs, so I'd take that over getting the wrong bfast sandwich every now and then.

  • Joey L.

A six hour wait for a JELLY donut, no decaf coffee, inexperienced naïve workers, inept mgmt., no selection, maybe 30 donuts in the whole place. OH yeah and they don't speak Dunkin language, Medium regular, what's that? and I love Dunkin, drove to Vegas once, 1000 miles round trip for a donut, so please , clean this place up, 4th south, 2nd east a tad bit better, Regards, Joe

  • Jerry P.

The dunkin doughnuts in Mesa, AZ is amazing, the one in salt lake is pretty crappy, I have been there 3 times and they are always out of the doughnut I want, but if they do have it it is always dry and has almost no icing on top!

  • Amanda A.

Okay, so it probably wasn't the smartest idea going into this place on the morning of the 24th of July during the parade. But, I did it anyway. I was thirsty and i needed the fiber. I've been to the DD in Las Vegas before but this was my first time at the utah location. I waited in line for about 45 minutes, which was expected. When It was my turn to order I ordered an iced white mocha with an extra shot. Simple enough. The girl said that they didn't have white chocolate syrup. So I ordered it caramel instead. She then asked me if I wanted cream and sugar because the caramel didn't have sugar in it..... By this time, I was so confused. My brain blew right out of my butt hole. Does this small teenage girl working at a COFFEE shop not know what a caffe mocha is??? Anyways, what I got was a watered down caramely, sugary, mess. I'm pretty sure they interpreted "extra shot" as more caramel. It also took them like two seconds to Make it so I know they didn't use espresso like they should have. My experience sucked. My "coffee" sucked. So, Dunkin Donuts, my advice to you is STOP SUCKING. teach your employees what a mocha is before you ruin someone else's perfectly good "pie and beer" day.

Having grown up outside of boston, dunkin donuts is near and dear to my heart. The grocery stores out east not only have a dunks in place of a bakery but they also have cup holders attached to the shopping carts for easy access to the caffeine goodness. The new slc location has finally worked enough kinks out that the coffee tastes like it should but holy hell, the drive through crew is amongst the worst ive ever encountered. Tone down the fake enthusiam (it's so contrived its nauseating) and learn how to understand the language we speak here on this planet. When you confirm my order exactly opposite of what i asked for it makes me feel like im interacting with aliens from outerspace. Reealllllly happy hyper aliens.

I really wanted to like Dunkin' Donuts, I used to love going to Dunkin' with my dad when I was a kid. But the return of the corporate crapola strikes again. Their coffee is awful and usually so blisteringly hot that you'll scald yourself. The donuts are waxy and tasteless, like they've been sitting on a shelf for days. The drive through at this location is miserably designed, the turn is so tight that you can't actually speak into the order board, and end up yelling across 4th south to get your order in. The last and final time I tried this location, I ordered black iced coffee with sweetener and a simple cake donut. My donut was smashed, and just rolling around in the bottom of a paper bag, not even a napkin thrown in to help clean up the disaster. And the coffee came with milk, and no sweetener. Alas, my verdict is just don't bother.

They never have anything! They are always out of eggs or the most popular donut... Not impressed at all. I also had to wait for about 15 min for a eggless breakfast sandwich, pretty sure they forgot about it...

I'm excited that Dunkin' has decided to build a location in the city of salt. While there are donut shops that offer a better product, konr of those places are open at 3am when I get off of work. I love their coffee beverages and they offer some good breakfast selections. But the ability to get a donut at all hours makes this a 4 star.

  • Rebecca U.

My opinion of this place the first time I went there was mixed. The chicken salad sandwich I had was good, and my BIL liked the tuna fish. The donuts, however, were really dry. They were also out of plain glazed. Seriously?? We tried again and ordered the variety dozen. Again they tasted dry and stale. I won't be returning to this location. I've had Dunkin Donuts in Boston and they were good, unfortunately the Salt Lake location isn't too concerned with serving fresh donuts.

  • Reed R.

Been there twice. Both times were out of the doughnut that I wanted. Today took 20 minutes in the drive thru. They are just doing coffee and doughnuts right? Not splitting an atom. They are building one closer to my house. Not as excited for it as I once was.

How can u not give them 5 stars? Toasted coconut donut heaven, the most perfect cup of coffee with cream please. They put your cream, milk, skim milk, sugar, Splenda, sweet n low, u name it they make it for u. Consistent deliciousness, easy, excellent top notch service. Every employee was smiling ear to ear. The donuts and coffee cannot be beat. Other cities dream of having a dunkin, slc has one.

Finally they bring delicious Dunkin Donut's to Utah. I love the ones they have out in Vegas and I am excited to see that they brought it to Salt Lake. My all time favorite from Dunkin' Boston Creme Donut! Yummy! It is kind of on the edge between 3 and 4 stars as they are still working out some kinks at the new store.

The Donuts were good and the coolatta tasted great, but I couldn't get over the fact that there were one too many flys in this store. Kinda gross. I'll go back in the winter when the flys are gone.

This Dunkin Donuts does not live up to the brand. I've spent the last two years living part time in Chicago and visited Dunkin Donuts regularly and had a consistent quick visit every time. I finally drove by this Dunkin Donuts in Salt Lake City and stopped to get a coffee and a dozen donuts for the office. After 15 min waiting in the drive through and only 1 of the four cars ahead of me were served and left, I decided to leave the line and skip the coffee. They certainly don't have it together there. Certainly worth avoiding unless you just want to say you had their donuts. In Salt Lake City, we have many better offerings, including Banbury Cross on 7th east and 7th south and much much better offerings for coffee. I won't waste my time with Dunkin again.

Most of the donuts just seem stale to me. The Boston Cream and cake donuts are decent. The coffee is great. Whenever I go back, I'll need to try one of their sandwiches. Maybe, it will add at least 1 star to this review.

Probably still getting the kinks worked out but for me this place was a let down- First off all what fast-food type place in todays age lacks fountain soda's ? This place of course. Ditzy gals trying to work the drive-thur and what not. The glazed donut breakfast sandwhich online look pretty wild but interesting, went for it. What a fail- sad looking squashed donut with some egg type product and instant bacon, flavorless so not worth the calories. Received no napkins so after this visit I was just left with sticky fingers and a stomach ache. No reason to return- Better donuts and fast breakfast options elsewhere.

One of the many "signs" that pointed to it being OK for me to move from Boston to Salt Lake City lacombst year was that DD was finally making it way back to Utah. Sadly, although the staff are extremely nice at all the DDs I've been to in Utah so far, and the new restaurants are thoughtfully designed with very good WiFi, I find that they're all having difficulty finding their groove, which is all about accuracy and consistency. Many of the folks taking orders still don't know the menu very well, especially the combo menu. They're often out of large straws, which makes me look like I'm trying to snort my large iced coffee instead of drinking it. There's no garbage can in the drive thru line (which at this DD is so strangely configured that it could use a traffic light and nearly requires an articulating vehicle to make the turn). Most disappointingly, despite the signage that was up all day to the contrary, they weren't open on Christmas Day. I wouldn't have minded them not being open, but the signs up all week promising that they would be got my hopes up. If any of the chain owners/managers would like to talk about how they could improve these somewhat sad DD outposts, I'd be happy to offer my advice. Before coming here, I went to at least one Dunkin Donuts each day for many years. Now, they're just my backup plan.

I was thrilled to have a Dunkin Donuts open in salt lake, however they have really dropped the ball both times I've been. On my latest visit, the coffee was not the usual Dunkin Donuts delight I've grown accustomed to. The service was slow and not up to par, and the food felt like a waste of a meal. To add to the annoyance of this visit, there was an abundance of employees standing around which should have alleviated the wait time. I feel like the local management needs to step up their game to get this place up to what customers should expect.

The line was insane! 20 minutes to order and pay, but it was the 2nd wk being opened. I love Dunkin' Donuts!!

Great coffee, warm cake type donuts (not greasy like Krispy Kreme) and great bagels. Being from Oregon I think this is the closest.. Worth the drive.

I've heard a lot about Dunkin Donuts, so I stopped in with some friends for a quick bite. The first thing to note is that it was EXTREMELY loud. The line was a bit crowded and it was hard to hear things with all the hustle going on. I don't think the cashier was very confident with her position at the time, as she forgot one of my friend's change and took a loooong time getting mine. The donut was pretty good, but then again, it's just a donut. I also ordered small hash browns which just tasted strangely seasoned, and iced coffee. The prices were fine for what I ordered, but their sandwiches were incredibly pricey for something so minuscule. Trash cans were nearly overflowing, but the tables were tidy. I would probably go back if I were in the area and craving sweets, but I've had better.

How could a new place be so filthy? And plenty of employees, but none cleaning off tables. This is basic food, people. Get real.

With fond memories of Dunkin Donuts when living in New York years ago, I had to try the new SLC location. Was surprised how ordinary the donuts were, and surprised that on a very busy weekend morning they seemed rather stale.

  • Visiza M.

Banbury Cross is so much better. The coffee was really watered down??? It was a really weird taste and so was their mocha, which was not worth the 4 bucks. Also, the cashier actually made a point to argue with me when I asked for a chocolate glaze, condescendingly, she replied, no we don't have chocolate glaze while i was staring at a donut with chocolate on it. We have chocolate cake, or a donut with chocolate frosting on it. Really?! just give me my donut

    (2)

  • Shareen K.

I took an early trip to my normal coffee place this morning but it was closed, so I decided to try DD. I only needed a coffee and I'm glad DD is where I went. The cashier was super friendly and the place is very clean. My coffee was inexpensive and soooo delicious.

Ever!

Bleechhh...

    (3)
  • Matthew B.

I asked for a regular coffee. Shit came to me with creamer in it and room temp. That's not regular, is it? Maybe I'm to blame. Maybe I should have stressed that I want a coffee with nothing in it... Black and hot. I'm annoyed at this. I won't go back. Three stars because the sandwich was nice and hot.

Bad, bad, bad. Ordered hashbrowns, they gave me 5. I counted. What the hell? I also got an iced coffee, it tasted disgusting because it was so watered down and I drank it as soon as I got it.. I just don't get how so many things could all be so bad.

Ive never had a Dunkin Donut until today. I had the strawberry donut, it was chewy but nothing like banbury cross. It was ok. The iced coffee was cheap but on promotion. Staff seemed nice and efficient. I will go back for the drinks.

  • Adam G.

We went there on 2/28/14 around 10:00 pm for a late night coffee and donuts. The person at the counter, I think her name was Xara, was extremely helpful and friendly. The donuts are always top notched and I enjoy the coffee a lot. The five star rating is for the customer service we had received.

  • Mimi N.

The people are extremely nice and friendly, which is great on my 6:30 commute, but they tend to get orders wrong. I suggest that you check before leaving...But it's a Dunkin, and they're open 24 hrs, so I'd take that over getting the wrong bfast sandwich every now and then.

The dunkin doughnuts in Mesa, AZ is amazing, the one in salt lake is pretty crappy, I have been there 3 times and they are always out of the doughnut I want, but if they do have it it is always dry and has almost no icing on top!

I took an early trip to my normal coffee place this morning but it was closed, so I decided to try DD. I only needed a coffee and I'm glad DD is where I went. The cashier was super friendly and the place is very clean. My coffee was inexpensive and soooo delicious.

Bleechhh...

Dang.

Worst customer service at a drive-thru. I've never had someone be so short with me I didn't catch the girl's name but she reminded me of Destiny's Child. She had zero patience and spoke to me as if I was a kid. It was actually my first time at DD and will probably be my last.

Bad, bad, bad. Ordered hashbrowns, they gave me 5. I counted. What the hell? I also got an iced coffee, it tasted disgusting because it was so watered down and I drank it as soon as I got it.. I just don't get how so many things could all be so bad.

I don't get it. The donuts are not that good, and the service is terrible. There were probably 5 employees, and the guy working the register was really the only one who had it together. Everyone else had their head in the clouds. There were maybe 4 people in there, and it took forever. It's donuts, for Christ's sake. Throw them in a box, and I'll be on my merry way. Not worth the wait.

Ive never had a Dunkin Donut until today. I had the strawberry donut, it was chewy but nothing like banbury cross. It was ok. The iced coffee was cheap but on promotion. Staff seemed nice and efficient. I will go back for the drinks.

Very clean and love the dunkin coffee. I love it how they put cream and sugar for you! Had a Boston donut and red velvet holiday special. This sugar really wakes you up in the morning.

We went there on 2/28/14 around 10:00 pm for a late night coffee and donuts. The person at the counter, I think her name was Xara, was extremely helpful and friendly. The donuts are always top notched and I enjoy the coffee a lot. The five star rating is for the customer service we had received.

The people are extremely nice and friendly, which is great on my 6:30 commute, but they tend to get orders wrong. I suggest that you check before leaving...But it's a Dunkin, and they're open 24 hrs, so I'd take that over getting the wrong bfast sandwich every now and then.

The dunkin doughnuts in Mesa, AZ is amazing, the one in salt lake is pretty crappy, I have been there 3 times and they are always out of the doughnut I want, but if they do have it it is always dry and has almost no icing on top!
